Size my own dog

A grown Siberian Husky typically weighs 35 to 60 pounds. A smaller adult, near 35 pounds, fits a 30-inch crate; if you know your puppy's parents are on the small side, that's enough.

Why 36 inches

Crates are sold by length. The size chart puts a dog that grows to 60 pounds in a 36-inch crate so the crate you buy for the puppy can already be the adult one, with the divider making it smaller for now.

Already have a grown Siberian Husky? Measure it: length from nose to the base of the tail, plus 4 inches, is the crate length it needs. Height sitting, plus 4 inches, is the least crate height. If that comes out longer than 36 inches, go up a size.
